From winter 2026/27 onwards, a completely renovated apartment house awaits you – modern, high-quality, and designed with a keen sense for comfort, atmosphere, and relaxing holiday moments. What makes it special: You enjoy the privacy of your own apartment while also experiencing genuine wellness comfort – with an indoor pool, sauna, infrared cabin, and relaxation room. In addition, there are flexible extras such as bread roll service, breakfast boxes, self-service bar, mini-shop, and refrigerator stocking. Grossarl is made for winter days you’ll remember for a long time: shoulder your skis in the morning, be at the gondola just minutes later, and soon be carving down freshly groomed slopes. With 760 km of slopes in Ski amadé – spread across Salzburger Sportwelt, Schladming-Dachstein, Gastein, Hochkönig, and Grossarltal – modern lift facilities, snow-sure runs, and the Grossarltal–Dorfgastein ski link await right on your doorstep. At Kathrin – pure alpine living, your ski day starts especially easily: from your apartment, you can reach the mountain lifts in only about a 5-minute walk. Even more convenient: the free ski bus stops right outside the house and takes you to the gondola in just a few minutes. Away from the slopes, the Grossarl Valley also offers plenty of winter experiences: around 30 km of cross-country ski trails, winter and snowshoe hiking, tobogganing, ski touring, ice skating, or romantic horse-drawn carriage rides. Tip: Our guests can take part free of charge in the BERG-GESUND activity program – for example guided snowshoe hikes, ski tours, or ice climbing with experienced guides.
