From winter 2026/27 onwards, a completely renovated apartment house awaits you – modern, high-quality, and designed with a keen sense for comfort, atmosphere, and relaxing holiday moments.
What makes it special: You enjoy the privacy of your own apartment while also experiencing genuine wellness comfort – with an indoor pool, sauna, infrared cabin, and relaxation room. In addition, there are flexible extras such as bread roll service, breakfast boxes, self-service bar, mini-shop, and refrigerator stocking.

Großarl is perfect for winter days that linger in your memory: shoulder your skis in the morning, reach the gondola just minutes later, and shortly after, glide across freshly groomed slopes.
With 760 km of slopes in Ski amadé – spread across Salzburger Sportwelt, Schladming-Dachstein, Gastein, Hochkönig, and Großarltal – modern lift facilities, snow-sure runs, and the Großarltal-Dorfgastein ski area await right outside your door.
At Kathrin – pure alpine living, your ski day starts particularly easily: From your apartment, you can reach the mountain lifts in just about 5 minutes on foot. Even more convenient: The free ski bus stops directly in front of the house and takes you to the gondola lift in just a few minutes.
Beyond the slopes, the Großarltal offers plenty of winter experiences: around 30 km of cross-country trails, winter and snowshoe hiking, tobogganing, ski touring, ice skating, or romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides.
Tip: Our guests can participate free of charge in the activity program offered by BERG-GESUND – including guided snowshoe hikes, ski tours, or ice climbing with experienced guides.
